The location was good, near to shops, beveridge park and beach. Rooms nice, clean and well equiped.
Elderly woman on reception was a bit snooty and gave us room on top floor, which with a small child and baggage was not very convenient. Room was overlooking railway line and airconditioning unit so was quite noisy for us with window open because it was warm at night.
Friendly staff and very comfortable beds!
The Dean Park Hotel had much ore luxurious and stylish rooms for the same price. We booked The Beveridge because the Dean Park was full, however we saw the rooms as friends were staying there.
Very good reception staff, clean throughout, large proper digital widescreen TV in room.
Some areas looking somewhat dated, though I understand refurbishments are continuing. Room rates slightly on the high side considering location and level of amenities.
The indian restaraunt within the hotel was excellent
Unfortunatley there was no air conditioning , despite being an executive double suite.
The friendliness of the hotel and the staff and the excellent Executive Room. Great views across the Sea. Excellent Food.
It's not so much what I didn't like, but as it was an Executive Room having a larger desk area would have been better. Nothing wrong with what was there, just a tad on the small side.
A clean, fairly well located hotel.
This hotel felt pretty budget and faintly depressing! Some of the staff were pretty curt with you, facilities were not great (the shower refused to get up to a reasonable temperature) and the breakfast was not exactly inspiring. It wasn't bad, but I definately wouldn't go back there again if I could help it.
the attitude of the staff extremely helpful and courteous
no pictures on the wall It seemed alittle dark with the sombre lighting and dark paintwork
It was in an ideal location for the buisness event I was attending.
Hotel staff were first class. Food was of a very good standard. Will most likely use again, thanks very mutch...
Check in fast, friendly and trouble free. Breakfast service was excellent. Room was quiet and bed comfortable making for a good night sleep. A good value hotel.
Purely subjective but the colour scheme in the room and dated furniture was a bit disappointing. Also the bathroom would benefit from a wee do over even simple white tiles would be better than the 80's style pattern, again though others might differ. I was on the second floor. There is no lift and a number of stairs to negotiate not the best for those with mobility issues. Finally, again purely a matter of taste, the bar decorated with all those pictures of stars from the usa not sure what this is all about. Don't let these comments put you off this hotel. This is a good value hotel, that with a little bit more investment could be really excellent.
Friendly help staff.
My room was too dark with black wall paper and no ceiling lighting. The chef failed to turn up to make breakfast until later in the morning!!
Very polite and helpful staff. Good breakfast and choice of evening meals.
I believe a room designed for two people should have at least two chairs also.
Great location if you are visiting Kirkcaldy or the Fife coast.
Very basic service as befits much Scottish 'hospitality'. Executive rooms comfortable and clean but decor wouldn't be out of place in an undertakers.
Very good experience, breakfast and dinner excellent. Bed very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful, good location, easy to find and park. Will definitely stay again.
Bathroom fan and light not dusted for a while, could also do with some black out liners for curtains.
Well decorated room, modern clean bathroom.Friendly receptionist.
Room was above kitchen&smelled of cur ry. Nothing a plug in air freshner couldn't fix.
